The APQC’s Process Classification Framework (PCF) is a fantastic place to start if you are wanting to identify the action areas and processes that are essential in your organization. The Cross-Industry PCF has a huge list of standardized processes that can help you on your way.
If in the course of your business improvement project you have identified the need to buy or develop an ICT system solution to support your business processes, then you will eventually benefit from some of the more traditional business analysis approaches. There are a lot of business analysis websites and bloggers and we’re not going to list all of them. However here are a few sites to get you started:
